Rodent Control

Rodent Chewed WireThe Pest Shop has numerous rodent control products and services to prevent rats, mice, squirrels and other rodents from entering your home.

When the weather gets cold, rats, mice and other rodents seek shelter in your warm home, which is a common problem.  If you hear strange noises in your attic, especially at night, you may have roof rats or mice.  While they are living in your home, they destroy and damage things by chewing on them.  This can be very dangerous.  We have found lots of damage caused by rats, including many damaged electrical wires and numerous large holes chewed in dishwasher drain lines. Luckily, we found the chewed electrical wires before they caused a fire. These pests constantly gnaw. They may be small, but they can do a lot of damage.

Rodent Rock
Rodent Rock

The rodent rock is much more visually appealing than traditional bait stations.  They blend in with your landscaping and could be mistaken for sound system boxes, decorative rocks, etc.  So, it’s not quite so obvious that you have rats.   They are available in black and sand.   They lock and are weighted for safety in homes with children and pets.  They can hold a variety of rat traps, baits and poisons.

Snap Traps and Bait

There are also a variety of traps, bait stations, and baits available.  To avoid harming children and pets, snap traps can be placed inside a bait station. We also offer our own Pecan Surprise rodent bait.  Peanut butter mixed with bird seed is also a great rodent bait.
